UNIFOODCLAN is presenting here the recipe of Indian Chicken Curry. It is so delicious and testy. This mouthwatering spicy dish goes very well with Indian bread ‘Roti’ or Basamati Rice. It gets a beautiful tangy flavor because of tomatoes. This falls under the category of perfect meals. The colour, the aroma and the taste of Indian Chicken curry is too good for my belly. One cannot ignore the spice that gets in with each and every morsel. This one is must-try recipe I would say. Check out the ingredients and directions below.

  • 3 tbsp    Refined Oil
  • 1 tbsp    Ghee (Clarified non-salty butter)
  • 5-6          Curry Leaves
  • Coriander to garnish

Directions:

Step 1

Clean the chicken pieces. Wash it well and keep it aside to drain.

Add chopped ginger and garlic. Saute it for 2 to 3 minutes. Later add chilies and sprinkle turmeric powder on the mixture and fry it for a minute.

Step 4

Once the mixture is sautéed, add the chopped tomatoes in it and continue frying them for next 3 minutes until tomatoes are soft.

Step 5

Add chicken pieces to the mixture and stir well on high flame for 3 minutes. Stir in readymade Chicken Masala powder, chili powder and salt as per taste. Mix well n cook it for 5 to 6 minutes on a high flame. Later put flame on medium and cook it for another 4 minutes. Keep stirring the mixture.

Step 6

Add 200 ml water to the mixture and now cook it on low heat for around 20 to 25 minutes till the chicken gets tender and release the oil. Cover the pan with lead.

It’s done. Your Indian Chicken Curry is ready to serve. Serve it on a bed of rice or enjoy it with ROTI (Indian flat bread). You can even use regular brown bread for company. Share the recipe with your friends. Comment and subscribe for more such lovely recipes.
