Classic Pumpkin Pie is easy to make and is so delicious. The creamy filling will make this classic pumpkin pie a hit at any occasion. Check out the ingredients & recipe below.
Ingredients
- ⅔ cup sugar
- 1 tablespoon flour
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ginger paste
- ⅛ teaspoon cloves
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon powder

- ⅓ cup Molasses
- 2 cups mashed pumpkin or squash
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup undiluted evaporated milk or light cream
- 9-inch, Readymade pie crust
Instructions
Step 1
Fit the pie crust into the pan and crimp the edges. Poke some holes on the crust. Put it in a refrigerator until it is cold and firm. Pre-heat oven to 400° F. (Moderately hot). Blind bake it for 7 – 8 minutes until it is dry and light golden. Make sure it is not completely dry and golden.
Step 2
Take a bowl. Mix first six ingredients of the list.
Step 3
Add molasses, pumpkin or squash, and eggs. Mix well. Stir in milk or cream. Pour into a pie crust.
Step 4
Bake it for 35 – 40 minutes or until knife inserted in center of filling comes out clean. Now put it aside to cool down on a room temperature. Later put it in a refrigerator for another 3 to 4 hours.
It’s done. Decorate it with some whip cream and sprinkle some cinnamon powder. Enjoy your Classic Pumpkin Pie !!!
