Chicken Fajitas

Ingredients :

  • 1 lb. boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced into thin strips

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

Instructions :

  1. In a large skillet or wok, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the sliced chicken strips and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-6 minutes. Remove from the skillet and set aside.
  2. Add the remaining tablespoon of olive oil to the skillet. Add the sliced bell peppers, onion, and minced garlic. Cook for 5-6 minutes or until the vegetables are tender.
  3. Add the chili powder, cumin, paprika, salt, and black pepper to the skillet. Stir well to coat the vegetables.
  4. Add the cooked chicken back to the skillet and stir well to combine everything.
  5. Warm up the tortillas in the microwave or on a skillet.
  6. Serve the chicken fajitas on warm tortillas with your favorite toppings. Shredded cheese, sour cream, chopped cilantro, sliced jalapenos, and salsa are all great options.
